Dr. Palimkar’s pursuit of excellence led her to achieve prestigious fellowships with the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) in 2014 and the American College of Cardiology (FACC) in 2017, solidifying her expertise on the international stage. Her career has been marked by distinguished positions at renowned institutions, serving as a medical officer at Sevadham Hospital from 1996 to 1998, and later holding roles such as Registrar in General Medicine at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, ICU Registrar at Ruby Hall Clinic, and Senior Registrar at N.M. Wadia Institute of Cardiology. She also served as a DNB Registrar at N.M. Wadia Institute of Cardiology for three years and a lecturer in Cardiology at Sassoon General Hospital for three years until 2009.

Today, Dr. Palimkar is a full-time consultant cardiologist and director of the cath lab at Sahyadri Multispecialty Hospital, Pune. She also maintains affiliations with the N.M. Wadia Institute of Cardiology and Jehangir Hospital, ensuring that her expert care reaches a diverse range of patients across the city. Dr. Palimkar, when not tending to her patients, enjoys indulging in her passions of painting and sketching. She also finds pleasure in participating in debates and quizzes.
